Wallpaper strip intervention installed in the swimming pool area of “El Nogal” a very prestigious private club in downtown Bogotá. The strip is a made from pictures of a very particular security strategy that is often used because of it’s effectiveness and low price. Broken bottles and splintered glass are inlaid within cement on the top of the walls.
This piece is a critical posture realated to the concern of witnessing the drastic gap between private and public spaces, it also rescues the strange aggressive appeal of this form of security.
This project was done in collaboration with the artist Javier Gamboa.
